DtM’s CEO, Timothy Prestero, moderated the panel discussion, “Design for Survival,” at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, in New York City, on Wednesday, September 19. The panel, held in conjunction with the museum’s exhibition, “Design for the Other 90%,” from May 2-Sep 23, featured objects designed for the majority of the world’s population (90 percent) whose needs are not typically met by professional designers.
