DtM Is Getting Bigger
Thu 01 Nov 2007
On October 1, DtM’s volunteer intern from Spring 2007, Sami Nerenberg, returned to join the team as the full-time Design and Marketing Intern! After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design with a concentration in Sustainability, and working over the summer at GreenBlue in Charlottesville, VA, Sami returned to Cambridge to work at DtM full-time. She will be managing DtM’s brand and image, planning upcoming events and expanding DtM’s network to increase collaborative opportunities.
On October 26, Lyla Hardesty joined DtM as Resource Coordinator. Her work involves resource development and coordination of DtM’s measurement and evaluation systems. Before joining the DtM team, Lyla worked at MIT’s Nuclear Engineering department assisting professors in research. She is currently finishing an Ed.M. in international educational development at Boston University, where her thesis will focus on bilingual education and employment in Niger. In 2005, she completed her B.A. in English with minors in African Studies and French at Boston University. Lyla’s previous experience includes volunteering for various organizations in Niger, including ONG VIE, a bilingual education NGO.
Within the span of a month, DtM has doubled its office team!
