DtM Speaks at RISD's Symposium "Make it Better"

RISD-symposium
Make It Better is a symposium sponsored by RISD's Respond/Design, which addresses the role of art and design in an age of environmental crisis. The symposium looks at the problems in our world today and asks, "what can we do, as artists and designers, to make it better? What are the opportunities and responsibilities of our profession as makers? And how can institutions of art and design, such as RISD, play a leadership role in crafting a positive future?"

This year, Timothy Prestero, was asked to be a part of this panel to discuss how Design that Matters is addressing these questions, and how design and art students can take responsibility to make things better in our world today.
